Only have 3 1/2 days at Disney for our first trip with our 10 and 7 year old. We are torn between staying at one of the hotels on the monorail vs one of the suite hotels like AOA. We are wondering if we can still take midday breaks at AOA if needed! Thx!

    Greetings Halleh!

You really can't go wrong with either a monorail resort or Disney's Art of Animation Resort.  I would base your accommodations decisions on which parks you think you'll be spending the most time in.  If you plan on spending a majority of your time at Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot, I would definitely stay at a monorail resort, especially on a shorter vacation.  If you think you'll be spending more time at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park or Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park, I would choose AoA.

You will most definitely be able to return to either resort easily for a midday break.  We always take breaks from the parks to relax and recharge!  It's what keeps everyone having fun and ready to take in more magic.

I hope this helps you narrow down your decision, Halleh.  Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Have a magical day,
    Ashley
