We only have 2 days at Disney the beginning of Nov 2010 with two boys, 8 and 4. The first day will be spent at MK but I am unsure whether to buy the park hopper for next day. The two parks I am debating are AK and HS. IYO, is the park hopper worth it?

    Randi:

If you only have two days for the parks, spending over $50 a piece on the park hopper ticket is simply not worth it in my book, especially with a 4-year-old, as it can take up to an hour to transfer from one park to the next and this is not easily done with younger children in tow.

I would recommend skipping Animal Kingdom, as your youngest won't be able to ride Expedition Everest and the park closes earlier than Disney's Hollywood Studios. Get the most out of your time and do Hollywood Studios thoroughly. There is so much for your kids to do there--save Animal Kingdom for another visit.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
