Welcome to planDisney, Marisa.
Thanks for stopping by with your question. Planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort can be stressful in a world with COVID-19. In the past, my own family has had to reschedule theme park days due to being hit with COVID-19. I hope it doesn't disrupt your plans, Marisa.
The State of California strongly recommends that all Guests be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the Disneyland Resort. However, it's important to know that Disney does not require this. Although
Disney strongly encourages all Guests to be vaccinated and wear face coverings when indoors, this is not currently a requirement (although policies are always subject to change). Therefore, you do not need to provide a negative COVID-19 test result in order to enter the theme parks.
Still, Disney's procedures may change as they continue to follow guidance from the State of California and local health officials. Therefore, in the few days before your trip, make sure that you check the
Disneyland Resort website.
As your trip approaches, if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, or have been in contact with another person with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 symptoms, then you must not enter the Disneyland Resort until the recommended quarantine period has been completed.
I hope that puts you at ease, Marisa. I hope you have a magical (and healthy) trip to The Happiest Place on Earth. Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney.
