    18 days! 18 days! I'm too excited to sleep! I'm staying at POR, what are the MUST do activities there? Also, if I requested adjoining rooms, should I call the hotel to make sure they have the request? Thanks!

    WOO HOO!!!  I am jumping up and down with you!!!  My family just got back last week from Walt Disney World, and we stayed at Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside!  This was our first time, and we loved it!

    Some of the MUST do activities I would recommend at Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside are the following:

    *  Take the boat from the resort to Downtown Disney!  My five kids, ranging in ages from 12 to 2, love taking the boat to Downtown Disney.  It's something different and something you can do for free!!!  It will take you about 30 minutes to arrive at Downtown Disney, but it is something I KNOW your family will enjoy!

    *  The Main Pool complex area at Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside is one of the BEST pool areas at Walt Disney World!  My kids (and their parents) LOVED this!

    *  Watercraft Rentals are available at the Colonel's Cotton Mill building.  Let me tell you that the motorboats are a total BLAST!!!

    To check and make sure your request for adjoining rooms is in the reservation system, just call 407-W-DISNEY and talk to a Cast Member.  While this request cannot be guaranteed, Walt Disney World will do its very best to make sure your wish has been granted!
