MagicBands purchased from the online Disney Store or any of the numerous shops once you get to Walt Disney World Resort is pretty easy thanks to your
My Disney Experience account, both on a computer or directly in your My Disney Experience App.
From the internet, log-in to the My Disney Experience website, mouse over the My Disney Experience toolbar. A dropdown will popup, and from there you'll select 'MagicBands and Cards' which is located under the 'My Account' section. The next page will show any MagicBands that you have on order, as well as have previously been issued. Scroll to the bottom of the page and there will be a button to link purchased MagicBands that says 'link' which will take you to another page; from there select the MagicBand button. It will be on this page that you enter the 12-digit number located on the back of your new band.
To link on your My Disney Experience App, click the character picture you've chosen for yourself, then click the words "My Account" located right below your name. Select 'MagicBands and Cards', then on that new page pick the button at the bottom that says 'Link a MagicBand or Card.' The next page is where you'll enter the 12-digit code on the back of your purchased band.
