Hi! 11 days and couting! Yay! This panel has been a lifesaver for planning. Thanks so much! We are doing MNSSHP and I am wondering about a game plan for that night. Any advice on where to go/what to do at the party? Don't want to miss a thing!

Hi Shelly....you are just days away now from your magical vacation!

You will really enjoy your night in the Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.  The biggest thing to plan is to find good viewing seats for the parade that evening.  It is a wonderful parade and it is preceded by the Headless Horseman who has always been a favorite of mine. I was disappointed to see that he no longer gallops through the streets but instead trots and I am sure this is done for the safety of all.

Most of the attractions will not have lengthy lines so head to them according to your interest.  Fantasyland will be crowded but far less then a normal day in this area.  There are two dance parties taking place with one in Fantasyland and the other in Tomorrowland. Our grandson loves to stay and dance his night away and we literally have to drag him away!

There will be many trick or treat stations through-out the park so stop by them all. When you enter the Magic Kingdom you will be given a trick or treat bag so no need to bring your own. Also don't forget that with your event ticket you can enter the Magic Kingdom at 4:00pm so you might want to go early to catch a bite to eat before the party kicks off.

This is a good night to try watching the fireworks from behind the castle in Fantasyland.  It is a completely different and fun experience!
