29 Days and Counting!!! We're staying at the Poly and have family staying at another WDW resort. They are meeting us for dinner at O'Hana's. Can they visit with us and swim at the Poly before/after dinner?

    Hi Susan!

    Wow 29 days, how fun!

Disney's Polynesian Resort is fabulous! I stayed there a couple of summers ago and we absolutely loved the pool! The kids had a great time swimming and playing with the entertainment staff. I'm sure you will as well.

The pool rules for all of the Walt Disney World Resorts is that only those guests staying at the resort are allowed to use the pool facilities. I have heard stories where family members staying at other Disney resorts have been allowed to use the facilities when they have asked for permission. It could be that the lifeguard/ cast member was in a good mood and the pool wasn't crowded.

I do remember when we were there, lifeguards periodically walked around the pool grounds asking for room keys verifying that we were guests. So, if you do have your family over before or after your meal, it would be beneficial to talk to a cast member just to see if you will be allowed to. It never hurts to ask and avoid any embarrassment later on.

I hope you all have a magical time at Walt Disney World! Have a great day!
