19 days & counting! I'm sooooo excited! 1st timer here in case you couldn't tell! We're coming 8/26-9/1. How crowded is it usually at this time?

Hi, Melinda!  The end of August into early September is usually a pretty good time to come in terms of crowd level.  While the crowds do pick up for Labor Day, many southern schools have already gone back to school, and many parents hesitate to have their children miss school this early in the school year.

The one thing I think will impact crowds and perhaps make them higher than usual for this time of year is the free dining package.  There seems to always be a bit more theme park traffic during the free dining promotion, and I imagine it will be much the same this year.

No worries, though.  You can use the Fast Pass system when you need to bypass long lines, and if you plan to hit the most popular rides during the early morning hours or during the parades or fireworks, you may find lines a bit shorter.

You only have a few more days until you can do the single digit dance!  As soon as your calendar clicks down to only nine days left before your trip, you get to wiggle your behind, wave your arms in the air, and bounce around the house yelling, "I'm going to Disney World!"  My girls and I would never miss the single digit dance!

I hope your first visit to Walt Disney World is sprinkled with a generous dose of pixie dust!  Don't forget to stop and get your Celebration button so everyone knows it's your first time there!
