    What days are commonly slow?

Hi there Cynthia, welcome to planDisney!  How exciting that your trip to the "Happiest Place on Earth" is coming up so soon!

I have found in my recent trips that there are not a ton of "slow" days or a particular month where fewer Guests are visiting the Disneyland Resort.  However, I always recommend that if you arrive to the parks early, even a half hour before they are scheduled to open, the parks are usually less crowded in the morning.  Guests want to sleep in on their vacations, and you'll find lower crowds in the morning, and the highest crowds mid-afternoon.  We love to get to the parks early so we can ride our favorite attractions first thing and cross those off our list!

If you have night owls in your family, the parks do start to clear out during the later hours of the evening as younger kids head off to bed.  You can check the Hours & Events Calendar prior to your trip, there are some nights that Disney California Adventure Park is open until 10:00 PM, and Disneyland Park is open until 12:00 AM!

My final recommendation is to try to visit the parks on a Tuesday or Wednesday during the middle of the week.  During holiday times or Spring Break it may not make that much of a difference, but usually there are less Guests at the parks than on a weekend where they may not be at work or school.

I hope this information helps answer your question, Cynthia!  If we can help with any other questions before your trip, please come back and ask.

    Have a magical day!
