62 days BLT/DVC home-few yrs since, stayed there-anything new for rooftop-no cost F.W viewing-Time to check in with all my guests? (7/3 day interested-our NO park day) I know I need digital card-anything else, I need to know?

    Hiya, Denise!

Welcome Home and welcome back to planDisney!  How exciting that your Disney vacation is just around the riverbend.  Certainly, it will be a magical time to visit, when celebrations abound.  Given your traveling dates are right near the Fourth of July holiday, getting to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks will be very special indeed.

Denise, you certainly can visit the Top of the World Lounge to view the Nighttime Spectacular.  This special Member perk is open to eligible Disney Vacation Club Members, but let me share a few details about this Member-exclusive space so you know what to expect during your upcoming visit.

Located on the 16th floor of Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Top of the World Lounge is an ideal place to enjoy one of the most beloved moments of any Disney day - the Magic Kingdom Nighttime Spectacular show.  To access the lounge during your visit, you'll need to be an eligible DVC Member with access to Membership Extras, as well as be using your Membership to stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel (both Vacation Points and cash stays will allow you to gain access).  Members are welcome to bring all the Guests registered on their reservations to enjoy the lounge, but just keep in mind that the lounge is primarily available on a first come basis –– it can be very popular, especially on the dates of your visit, so I suggest grabbing a seat as early as possible if watching the fireworks is a priority for you.

Check-in time starts at 5:45 p.m. and while the times of the fireworks on the date of your visit are currently scheduled to begin at 9:20 p.m., this is subject to change.  I recommend checking the calendar of events and hours to confirm the timing on the day of the visit, as weather can impact this event.  The Member needs to be present for check-in with your digital Member card and a photo i.d. I recommend that your entire party is present for check-in because if the space reaches capacity, the other Guests on your reservation may not be admitted.

The one exception to the first-come rule is for DVC Guests who choose to book the all-new Wicked Wind Down package.  Not only does this offering guarantee you a spot in the lounge, but you'll also have a specially-reserved area on the rooftop terrace to enjoy the fireworks.  In addition to reserved viewing, the package includes a cocktail, appetizer, and a sweet treat to finish off the evening.   If you're interested in making a reservation for yourself, you can do so by calling Member Services.  Just keep in mind that this package has limited availability.

I hope this helps you, Denise!  If you have any further Disney Vacation Club questions, stop back and see me here and I'll be so happy to help you because you've got a friend in me!

    See you ya real soon!
