What days are blacked out atTop of the World Lounge for DVC members?

    Hi Donald,

Will this be your first time attending Top of the World Lounge at Bay Lake Tower? If so, you are in for a real treat! After a full day in the parks, this modern and luxurious upscale lounge is the perfect place to relax with friends and family and indulge in a few light appetizers and drinks while surrounded by some incredible views of nearby Magic Kingdom.

Access to Top of the World Lounge is reserved exclusively for Disney Vacation Club members and guests who are staying with them at a Disney Resort hotel, regardless of whether the reservation is booked using Disney Vacation Club points or cash. To access the lounge, simply present yourself at the Top of the World Lounge reception desk located in Bay Lake Tower's main lobby. Be sure to bring your Disney Vacation Club membership card so the Cast Member can verify your credentials before escorting you to an express elevator servicing the lounge.

There are only four dates in 2017 when access to Top of the World Lounge is restricted only to Disney Vacation Club members who are staying at Bay Lake Tower: July 3 and 4, and December 30 and 31. Apart from those dates, the lounge is open daily from 6 p.m. until midnight.

If you are planning to stay to watch the fireworks, be sure to arrive early for the best seating. During the fireworks, the lounge will dim its lights and pipe in the accompanying musical soundtrack. In my opinion, this is one of the best benefits available to Disney Vacation Club members!

Wishing you a magical vacation and a wonderful time at Top of the World!
