    45 days and we are back at our favorite place! Can we use the card attached to our magic band in order to pay for tips? We have the dining plan. Thanks for all your help!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question. The countdown is ON for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort - you must be so excited!

    Yes, you can absolutely use your MagicBand to charge gratuities and any other “extras” (such as appetizers and additional beverages) to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel account, even if you’re paying for your meal using your Disney Dining Plan entitlements. Just tell the server how you’d like to pay for everything, and they’ll take care of the rest! I’d also recommend having a “backup” method of payment on hand, just in case there is a technological issue that prevents you from being able to use your MagicBand for your additional charges.
