    Hi Moms! I am 12 days away from our trip to WDW to celebrate my youngest daughter's sixteenth birthday. I want to get a birthday cake for one our dinners (have a few reservations). She is a huge Disney fan. Can you suggest something?

    Visiting Walt Disney World to celebrate your daughter's 16th birthday will be so much fun!

    You absolutely can get a cake for your daughter for her birthday at Walt Disney World.  To do so, call the Disney cake hotline at 407-827-2253.  The cast members there can help you to personalize a cake for your daughter for her birthday, including the flavor of the cake and any character decorations that you might want.  We celebrated my daughter's birthday at Walt Disney World last year.  Because she really likes Minnie Mouse, we had a Minnie Mouse-shaped cake delivered to our resort room for her birthday.  You can also have a cake delivered to most table service restaurants at Walt Disney World.  Be sure to call the cake hotline at least 48 hours before you would like your cake.

    There is good information about ordering cakes at Walt Disney World on the unofficial site disneyfoodblog.com.  Once you are there, search for "cake hotline," and one of  the first results will be for frequently asked questions about ordering cakes at Walt Disney World.
