Welcome to planDisney, Angela! It's so exciting to hit that 60-day mark as the magic of Walt Disney World is within touching distance. I'm sorry you have not had the smoothest start to advanced dining reservations, and I hope I can help.
First, please know if you are a
Disney Resort hotel Guest, you can book dining reservations for your entire trip at that 60-day mark (up to a 10-night stay). Otherwise, you must wait for 60 days ahead of each individual day.
A quick user tip. I find dining bookings easier through the
My Disney Experience App than the desktop version. Simply search by venue name, select your date and time, and hopefully, you will secure the reservation you need. Sometimes refreshing the screen can help reset any errors.
Some dining venues at Walt Disney World are incredibly popular. Indeed for many trips, I've been unable to secure some reservations at the 60-day mark. In this case, I usually check back often, as you never know what might pop up. Otherwise, once I'm at Walt Disney World, I check if a walk-up waitlist is available for a restaurant. You can check this in the My Disney Experience App, and you may still be able to dine at your desired venue. Guests can now cancel their dining reservations without charge two hours ahead of plans, so it's worth refreshing the App to check availability if you have a must-do experience.
Angela, your Walt Disney World adventure occurs at one of my favourite times of the year, during
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Even if you don't step foot inside a sit-down restaurant here, I promise your tastebuds will be delighted by the various delectable offerings from the
Outdoor Kitchens based around EPCOT.
Angela, I hope your dining experience at Walt Disney World is magical, whether you get every booking you wanted or sample more of the quick service options. Wishing you blue skies and sunshine for your trip, Louise.
