In 10 days we arrive at POR for our 3rd WDW vacation, first time at POR. What is best bldg to request for Royal Guest Rooms, OM or PP? Want close to walking bridge to main bldg.

    Hi Jennifer!

Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation! It's just around the corner now!

You're going to love the new Royal Guest Rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.
To improve your chance of being closest to the foot bridge to the main building, I'd recommend that you call in at (407) 939-7675 and ask that a 'note' be added to your resort reservation file, documenting your request. Keep in mind of course that requests cannot be guaranteed, however Cast Members will do their best to meet your request based on availability at the time of room assignments and/or Check-In.

Your optimal request would be a location in Oak Manor in the south end of the building, closest to the pool or river. The next best bet would be a room in Parterre Place, north part of the building on the river side, in the small, separate building.

Even if these specific locations aren't available, you'll find that the jaunt to the foot bridge from any of the Royal Room locations will be short and pleasant.

Please feel free to write me back any time if I may assist you further Jennifer!
I'd love to hear from you again!

Thanks so much for visiting the Moms Panel with your question.
Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
