How many days in advance can you reserve a Beachcomber Shack at Typhoon Lagoon? I can only see about 3 weeks out online, but I didn't know if you could call to reserve further more in advance. Thanks!

Hiya, Kathleen! Welcome back to planDisney!

Thanks for bringing us this splash-tastic water park question. My family booked a Beachcomber Shack at Typhoon Lagoon during our last Walt Disney World vacation, and I haven’t stopped recommending it to anyone who will listen. Having our own reserved space really elevated an already fun day into something magical.

Like many other Enchanting Extras, Beachcomber Shacks can be reserved 60 days in advance of your visit. You’re correct that the reservation calendar doesn’t show any dates past February 14, 2026, and that’s because Typhoon Lagoon is closing for refurbishment on February 15th.

But don’t you worry! Blizzard Beach, which is currently closed for refurbishment, is scheduled to reopen on February 15, 2026, and you can reserve a Polar Patio. Just like a Beachcomber Shack, Polar Patios offer reserved seating, towels, a locker, water, select soft drinks, and a dedicated Cast Member to assist you during your visit. You can book your Polar Patio online or ask about same-day availability at the Beach Haus, but advanced reservations are recommended (schedules and availability are subject to change).

If you haven’t visited Blizzard Beach before, you’re in for a real treat. This winter wonderland has something for everyone! If you’re a thrill seeker, you won’t want to miss the 12-story-tall Summit Plummet and Slush Gusher. If you prefer a more relaxing experience, then you’ll want to grab an inner tube and take a leisurely float around Cross Country Creek.

I hope this info is helps with your vacation planning, Kathleen, and that you have a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have additional questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!

    Magical travels!
