Hello, Roberto!
I’m so sorry to hear about your canceled flight. I hope the next opportunity to travel works out much better.
First of all, if you happen to have booked your international travel to the Disneyland Resort through a
travel agent, I highly recommend working through them to make any changes to your tickets and other travel plans. If you purchased your
Disneyland Resort theme park tickets on your own, you will need to visit a main entrance ticket booth at the Disneyland Resort after you arrive to upgrade your 1-day ticket to a higher ticket tier. However, each Guest visiting the Disneyland Resort theme parks must have both valid theme park admission and a
theme park reservation. Since you must have a higher ticket tier to book the new park reservation date you can travel, you won’t be able to make that reservation with your existing ticket beforehand.
If you would like, you may wait until after you arrive and upgrade your ticket to make your new park reservation. But because park reservations are subject to availability, I don’t recommend that. Instead, I recommend purchasing a new ticket and booking the new park reservation at the time of purchase. That way, you’ll know that the date you wish to visit will be available and your visit reserved. Then, take your old, wholly-unused ticket and your new ticket to the main entrance ticket booths. There, you may request a refund of the amount paid for your old ticket, which will be canceled at that time.
This is a wonderful time to visit the Disneyland Resort, Roberto. We just returned from a visit and loved the Fall and Halloween decorations. I recommend enjoying the seasonal Haunted Mansion Holiday
attraction in
Disneyland Park. In
Disney California Adventure Park, I hope you enjoy the Haul-O-Ween celebration going on in Cars Land. One feature that my family really enjoys is the ofrenda set up in honor of Doc Hudson from the Disney•Pixar movie Cars. You can find it in Ramone’s House of Body Art in Cars Land.
Thanks for your question, Roberto. If we can help answer any more questions, please stop by again soon. And if you happen to prefer submitting
questions in Spanish, that option is also available!
Have a magical time, Roberto!
