Welcome to planDisney, Julia! I am so glad to hear that you are considering the 4-Day/4-Park Magic Ticket! It is a fantastic offer! In fact, Uncle Scrooge McDuck is jumping for joy with the money that can be saved with this special offer!
Guests with the
4-Day/4-Park Magic Ticket must visit all four of the Disney Parks. You can’t forgo one of the parks to visit another park twice. The ticket allows one entry to Magic Kingdom Park, one entry to EPCOT, one entry to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and one entry to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park.
Also, remember that on the day you visit a park, you are allowed to enter, leave, and then re-enter the same park later that day. And, if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel (and some participating Good Neighbor hotels) you can take advantage of the Early Theme Park Entry benefit! This perk allows Guests of those hotels to enter the theme parks 30-minutes prior to park opening time, on any day!
Julia, in your question you mentioned possibly skipping
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. There are some cool attractions at that park to consider. Some of our family favorites are Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, Avatar Flight of Passage, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Kali River Rapids, and The Festival of the Lion King! You can also find delicious Disney Dining at Tusker House Restaurant (I recommend breakfast) and Yak and Yeti Restaurant! Yes, I'm a BIG fan of the adventure (and deliciousness) of Disney's Animal Kingdom Park!
Happy Planning!
