Hiya Christina,
Welcome to planDisney! I’m Ashley, and I am here to guide you through planning your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation. My favorite part of all of my Walt Disney World trips is dining. The food never disappoints. In the words of a wise mouse, “if you are what you eat, then I only want to eat the good stuff.”
I see that you are having difficulty securing the dining reservations you want for your upcoming trip. With so many Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort for the
50th Anniversary Celebration, dining reservations have been increasingly difficult to obtain, particularly for the more popular dining options. But never fear; dining reservations always seem to pop up when you need them; all it takes is a little faith and pixie dust. My suggestion is to keep checking back in the
My Disney Experience mobile app. As Guest’s change their plans dining reservations open up, so check daily (I have the most luck securing the reservations I want closer to my dates). Sometimes, despite all of your wishing, you still aren't able to get reservations for everything on your wish list before you leave for your trip. Once you are at the Theme Parks, if you still haven’t booked your dining location, you can always stop by the restaurant and see if they have any cancellations that day or try for a walk-up reservation. The
walk-up wait list tends to fill up quickly, so I highly recommend going early to the restaurant to be added to the list.
I wish you the best of luck in securing the dining reservations you want before your trip. Let us know if you have any other questions that we can answer for you.
Happy Planning!
Ashley F.
