Hi there Maggie, and welcome back to planDisney!
No wonder you're excited; a vacation that includes a stay at
Disney's BoardWalk Inn and a day at
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park sounds like the perfect way to enjoy Florida's warm spring weather. April is one of my favorite times of the year to be in Walt Disney World.
Reserving a Beachcomber Shack is an ideal way to enhance your visit to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. Maggie, I chatted with a Cast Member from the
Enchanting Extra Collection who shared that, at this time, bookings for the Beachcomber Shacks are not available. She did not know the exact date when they would open, so she suggested frequently checking
this website when your 60-day window begins and as the water park's reopening date approaches. You can reserve a Beachcomber Shack either online or over the phone. I'll keep my fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly with the reservation process.
When you're ready to leave your private oasis of comfort at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, there are a few attractions you won't want to miss. My family's favorites here include
Miss Adventure Falls,
Crush 'n' Gusher, and
Humunga Kowabunga. If you want to kick back and relax but still be part of the action, hop on an inner tube and enjoy a few laps floating around the park, letting your cares drift away on
Castaway Creek.
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is just down the street from
Disney Springs, so my perfect day here concludes with a casual dinner at
Raglan Road™ Irish Pub & Restaurant or
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'. Showers and locker rooms are available at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, so you can get cleaned up before hitting the town.
I hope this has been helpful! Best wishes for a magical vacation this spring, and if there's anything else we can do to make it even more memorable, don't hesitate to come see us again.
Just keep swimming,
Betsy
