Hi Cassie!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The
Candlelight Processional is one of my family's favorite holiday traditions at Walt Disney World Resort. Hearing the story of Christmas, told by a celebrity speaker, while accompanied by a gorgeous-sounding orchestra and choir, moves me every single performance. I'm so glad you're planning on attending this magical show, too!
In our experience, the days of the week do not make a difference in the popularity of the event. We've seen it during the week as well as on the weekends, and each time there were long lines and not an empty seat in the house! With that being said, what might influence the popularity of each performance is the celebrity narrator. We've noticed the line forming earlier in the day for certain celebrity narrators (for example, Neil Patrick Harris). If you are planning on waiting in line, I suggest sticking to the day that works best for you during your vacation (Friday), grabbing a snack to munch on and arriving in line two hours in advance of the performance.
Cassie, I hope I was able to give you some pointers for your upcoming visit to
Epcot! You're going to be filled with the spirit of the season after experiencing the Candlelight Processional!
