Hi Susan,
My first thought when seeing your question was that ANY day is a great day to visit a theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort!
While I've heard people suggest that Magic Kingdom Park is busiest on Saturdays or Sundays because of weekend Guests as well as families both arriving for and departing from their vacations, I'm not sure that any certain day of the week is better than any other for each of the different theme parks. I'd suggest checking the
Park Hours for the week you'll be visiting and choosing based on those instead. I, personally, like to choose to visit the parks on the days when they're open the longest so that I can soak up the magic for as long as possible. I also am a big fan of
Extra Magic Hours, so if you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you may want to choose each day's theme park based on the availability of this great perk. Having an hour or two in the parks with fewer Guests and shorter wait times?! Yes, please!
Regardless of which park you choose each day, I'd definitely suggest arriving early in the morning. My family is usually able to enjoy several attractions first thing in the morning with very little wait times, and then we begin scheduling our
FastPass+ selections mid to late morning. Another thing we like to do is schedule a Resort hotel day in the middle of our vacation. We love to sleep in, relax at the pool, enjoy some of the great recreation opportunities offered at the Resort hotels, visit Disney Springs, and experience a delicious and fun dinner before getting a great night's sleep and enjoying a couple more days of theme park fun.
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Susan, and have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
