Only have 1 day at WDW before our Disney cruise: first time for both a cruise and .WDW! Going to Halloween Party.Would you still recommend getting a regular park ticket or is the 4pm admission going to give us enough time to get the full experience?

    Hi Kathy,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question! From the sounds of it, you’re going to have an amazing vacation. My family and I have absolutely loved the fun we’ve had on our Disney Cruise Line vacations, especially when we combine them with the fun of a visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

I don’t think that it’s possible to get a “full experience” of Magic Kingdom Park in just one week, let alone in just one day! That being said, because one-day Theme Park Tickets are so expensive, I would recommend that you save money and only purchase tickets to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Most attractions are open during this Special Event, as well as many of the restaurants. You’ll get a good feel for what’s available in during a “regular day”, on top of enjoy all of the not-so-spooky delights that make this Party such a memorable event.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
