    We have 1 day water park tix, but can't decide which park is better for our group: myself (up for everything @ both), DH (not a thrill seeker), DS (6 y.o., 43") & MIL (doesn't know how to swim). Which park has the best viewing for MIL and rides fo

    Hi Karyn!

    The good news is both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach are fabulous, especially on a hot and humid summer day!  That said, I suggest going to Typhoon Lagoon. Both of my boys have always preferred Typhoon Lagoon over Blizzard Beach and they have both been to both water parks many times over the years. However, more importantly I recommend going to Typhoon Lagoon because it had a lot more shade due to its theming of a tropical resort. That can be especially important on a summer day, especially for those now swimming.
