Hi Savannah!
It always makes me so happy to answer questions about the
Walt Disney World Water Parks because it's one of our favorite things to do while on vacation or even on a day trip! We have had annual passes that include the water parks for at least 10 years, so you can find us splashing around a lot, especially in the summer.
Admission to Disney's Blizzard Beach or Disney's Typhoon Lagoon includes park hopping between the two on the same day. The exact verbiage on the website says, "If both water parks are open, you may come and go between them, as you please!" This is fantastic because the two parks couldn't be more different, so it's a nice opportunity to experience the tropics of
Typhoon Lagoon and the snow storm of
Blizzard Beach.
We are a split family as far as which park is our favorite. My son, 10, has recently found himself a thrill seeker and prefers the adrenaline pumping slides like
Summit Plummet at Blizzard Beach while my daughter, 7, prefers the
Surf Pool and
Mayday Falls at Typhoon Lagoon. As long as I can have some time in a lazy river, I'm a happy Mouseketeer!
A visit to the water parks isn't complete without the famous
mini donuts! You can only get these delicious sweet treats at the two water parks and they're the most delicious with chocolate dipping sauce. Even though the website says Blizzard Beach, they are also found at Typhoon Lagoon.
Stop back by if you have any additional planning questions or if you'd like any tips on planning your water park day!
Have a magical day!
Leslie
