We only have 1 day to visit the parks. We definitely want to see the new Star Wars attraction. What kinds of recommendations can you make for a 1 day visit? We have it narrowed down to 2 parks. Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.

Hi, Jennifer! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

There is so much to see and do at the Walt Disney World Resort!  Sometimes it can be difficult to narrow down your list of must-dos, especially when your time is limited.  Since you only have one day to spend at the Walt Disney World Resort, let's make a plan as to how to maximize your magic.

It would be impossible for me to choose my favorite Walt Disney World theme park.  They are all amazing in their own unique ways.  However, I will say that Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park are my top choices for thrill rides.  At Disney's Hollywood Studios, you'll be racing along the freeway in a super-stretch limo and plummeting down an elevator shaft in an abandoned hotel.  At Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, you can soar on the back of a banshee and escape the clutches of the Yeti.  Excitement is in store for you no matter which of these two parks you decide to visit!

Both of these theme parks have so much to offer in addition to thrilling attractions.  Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is the place to visit if you are interested in animals, conservation, and various cultures.  Have you ever wished that you could step inside the worlds of your favorite movies?  Then you don't want to miss Disney's Hollywood Studios, where you can shrink to the size of a toy and play in Andy's backyard or travel to the planet Batuu and live your very own Star Wars adventure.  The new attraction, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will be open by the time you visit, and it promises to be unlike anything we have ever experienced!

If you cannot decide between these two theme parks, you may wish to add the Park Hopper option to your theme park tickets.  Park Hopper tickets allow you to visit more than one park per day.  This is a great option, although you will use up some of your limited time traveling between the two parks.  No matter which park or parks you choose, be sure to take advantage of FastPass+ to shorten your wait time for popular attractions.  When you're feeling hungry, save some time by using Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering.  If you start early and stay late, I think you'll be able to fit a whole lot of fun into one day!

    See ya real soon!
