There is a day where some of us are going to HS and others going to EPCOT. Can we park at one of the resorts and travel by skyliner to our respective parks? (We are not staying at a Disney resort.) Which one would be closest?

Welcome back to planDisney, Patti! Thanks so much for coming to us with another question today. One of the things I love about Walt Disney World Resort is that there is a robust complimentary transportation system that can get me anywhere I might want to go. Knowing that I can relax and let someone else do the driving really puts me in that vacation mindset!

Parking at Disney Resorts Collection Hotels is reserved for guests who are staying there, so you would not be able to park your car at a Resort Hotel without a reservation. Not to worry though, because I have a solution for the day when your party is splitting up!

I recommend that you all drive together to Disney's Hollywood Studios in the morning and park there. The group that is going to EPCOT can then hop on the Disney Skyliner and head in that direction. Disney's Hollywood Studios typically opens about 30 minutes before EPCOT and closes about 30 minutes later, so both groups can still make it to rope drop and stay until the very end of the night if that's what you want to do. You can all meet back at your car at the end of the night and travel back to your hotel together!

I hope this answers your question, Patti, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
