    Mitzi from CA Asked

Hello, I have a day trip planned for my family for Wed. 6/23/21 and I cannot make any reservations for any restaurants . I even called and they said that Disneyland controls this with the app. The message I keep getting is systems are down. What can I do?

    Ma chère Mitzi!

It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you to planDisney! And now we invite you to relax, let us pull up a chair as the panel proudly presents, your answer!

Dining reservations at the Disneyland Resort can be especially tricky! That’s why I always recommend booking as soon as possible if you have your heart set on a certain location, date and time. Dining reservations can be booked up to 60 days in advance, using the Disneyland App, via the Disneyland Resort website or by calling (714) 781-DINE (714-781-3463). But, if you’re unable to snag a reservation at your desired location, don’t lose hope! I recommend checking back closer to your desired date, you may be able to snag a reservation due to someone else’s last-minute cancellation. Or you can check with the Cast Member at the host stand of your favorite restaurant to inquire if there is walk-up availability on the day of your visit.

For your Quick-Service meals try Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering on the Disneyland App! I like to place my orders for the entire day first thing in the morning. I choose my preferred Quick Service location and my desired pick-up time. Then, when my pickup window arrives later in the day, I select the “Prepare My Order” button and wait for the text alert that my order is ready for pickup. I had great success using this method on my last visit to the Disneyland Resort. I think you will too!
