Welcome to planDisney, Johnny!
It sounds like you’ve got an incredible visit planned out with a great group of people and, of course,
theme park fun! My family loves extending our trips out to any family member who will join us. Unusually, they all follow my lead, so planning all falls on me, but most recently, my dad has thrown his hat into the planning pool. Which is helpful, especially when we travel as a big group.
We’ve had a few visits with everyone staying at different
Disney Resorts before, and we all just aligned our plans together and created a central meeting point at whichever theme park we were planning on visiting that day. That’s my number one tip: if exploring together, pick a time and spot to meet up at.
If you're all looking to only meet up for dinners, the same plan goes. You’ll just want to make sure everyone who wants to dine is included in the
dining reservation. You will also need to make sure that everyone has a valid theme park ticket to enter whichever theme park you all want to dine at. So two things are needed: theme park tickets and dining reservations. If your party has park hopper tickets, this will allow a little more flexibility, otherwise, you’ll want to plan your meals at whichever theme park you'll be at for the day.
Another great way to dine together is by selecting a restaurant at
Disney Springs. There are so many great options to choose from there, and you won’t need a theme park ticket. You will still want to schedule a dining reservation, though. The good news is, like visiting the theme parks, you can use the
bus transportation at your resort to cruise on over to
Disney Springs, so transportation isn’t an issue.
Johnny, I hope this helped answer your question. If you have any more, you know where to find us.
Enjoy your trip and happy dining!
