For a 5-day trip to Disney World Orlando - with first & last days being half days (arriving in the early afternoon on the first day and leaving late afternoon on the last day) - what is the best order of theme parks to make reservations for and visit?

    Welcome to planDisney, Kylie!

What an amazingly fun trip you have in store for you! Oh, boy! You'll be arriving just in time to experience TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom Park and watch Happily Ever After and EPCOT Forever. I hope you're ready for the magic!

It's difficult to know what will be the best order to visit the theme parks, Kylie. There are various factors to consider (for example, are you staying at a hotel that offers Extended Evening Theme Park Hours?) I also couldn't tell if you were planning on visiting the theme parks on your half days. I will assume that you have a 5-Day Ticket and give you my best educated guess and slightly-biased opinion.

Personally, I always like to begin my Walt Disney World adventure at Magic Kingdom Park. However, since you'll be arriving in the early afternoon, I think I'd begin at EPCOT. You can then grab food at one of the outdoor kitchens and enjoy the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival before watching EPCOT Forever. For your first full day, I would visit Magic Kingdom Park. Make sure you join the virtual queue for TRON Lightcycle / Run. For the third day, I would recommend going to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Don't miss my favorite nighttime spectacular, Fantasmic! For your fourth day, I would head back to EPCOT and enjoy a full day there. Make sure you ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and sample more food from the outdoor kitchens. Also, if you've never eaten at Connections Eatery, I highly recommend it! For your fifth and final (half-) day, I would suggest visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. If you have Early Theme Park Entry, head straight to Avatar Flight of Passage and then make your way to Kilimanjaro Safaris (the animals are more active in the early part of the day). You should be able to do most of this park in half a day.

It's going to be exhausting, but incredibly fun! I'd also recommend purchasing Disney Genie+ so that you can maximize the magic.

I hope that's helpful, Kylie! Whatever order you do things, I trust you'll have a truly brilliant time.
