Hiya Ricki,
Welcome back to planDisney! Thank you so much for coming back to visit us for help planning your land and sea trip next year. Traveling on a Disney Cruise is at the top of my wish list, so I am so excited for you to experience one very soon.
With six days in the Theme Parks, you will get to explore Walt Disney World Resort in depth. Thank you for sharing your family's priorities with me; my trips are always planned around food, so my recommendations would've leaned toward that. Since you and your family want to experience the most attractions, shows, and nighttime spectaculars, I highly recommend visiting
Magic Kingdom Park and
Disney's Hollywood Studios. Magic Kingdom Park has the most attractions of all the four Theme Parks, so if you want to ride more rides, this is the perfect stop. I also love the variety of attractions at Magic Kingdom; I have a tiny Mouseketeer, and there is so much more that she can experience at Magic Kingdom than at the other three parks. No matter what your daughters love to ride, they will have plenty of options at Magic Kingdom. Did I mention that the Nighttime Spectacular,
Happily Ever After, is shown nightly at Magic Kingdom? It is one of my favorite Nighttime Spectaculars, and I am so excited it is returning in April. I recommend reserving a
Fireworks Dessert Party for Happily Ever After for an extra special treat. I know food isn't a priority for your family, but having a dedicated space to watch the show is one of the best reasons to purchase this experience.
For your second park, I recommend Disney's Hollywood Studios. I went back and forth between Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT, but what made me suggest it is that your family's priority is to experience shows as well. Disney's Hollywood Studios is home to
four shows (Beauty and The Beast Live on Stage, For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, and MuppetVision 3D) and two fireworks shows (Fantasmic! and Wonderful World of Animation). It is the ideal Theme Park if you want to experience shows. On top of that, Disney's Hollywood Studios are perfect for those who love thrill rides, character experiences, and other unique attractions. I think it will be the ideal second park to visit again during your visit.
I hope this was helpful, Ricki. Please come back if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
