We have an 8 day trip booked with Deluxe DDP for May 4-12 2013 (with a 5yo) . We are trying to figure out how many ADR's to make and where to make them. How important will it be to have ADR for everything? We'd like to have some spontaneity.

    Hi Melissa!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

I definitely recommend making as many Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs) as you can. It is better to have a reservation and then to change it if necessary. That's better than not having a reservation and being unable to get one especially when on a Disney Dining Plan.

That said, you are going during a relatively quiet time at Walt Disney World. You should be able to walk up o the less popular restaurants, especially the ones in the resorts. However, it may be really hard to walk in at a "decent time" as opposed, for example, to having to eat a very early or late dinner.

Some of my favorite Table Service restaurants include Ohana, Le Cellier Steakhouse, Boma, Jiko, California Grill, Whispering Canyon Cafe, Flying Fish, Kona Cafe, Tusker House, and Mama Melrose.

I hope this helps. Please write back with more questions.
