Hey there, Kathryn. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
I am so glad you are already thinking about making your
Advanced Dining Reservations for your upcoming
Walt Disney World vacation. The best restaurants fill up quickly. You'll need to set your alarm early because when you are 180 days away from your magical vacation you can start making those reservations online starting around 5:45 a.m. If you'd rather call and speak with a Cast Member over the phone, you can do that starting at 7:00 a.m. sharp.
Could I give you a few restaurant suggestions? I have so many favorites depending on what you are looking for. For breakfast, I love either
Cape May Cafe at Disney's Beach Club Resort or
Tusker House at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Both are all-you-care-to-enjoy character meals and offer delicious food. For lunch, I love
The Plaza Restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park. Dining there is like stepping back in time with a wonderful view of Cinderella Castle. If you do end up eating there, you must try the Plaza Fries. I'm not sure who thought up the combination of french fries topped with cheese, ranch, lettuce, bacon and tomatoes but it just works! For dinner, I have so many favorites depending on what you're hungry for.
'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is a fan favorite. If you get a dining reservation around the nighttime firework display at Magic Kingdom Park you'll be able to see the show from your table. The restaurant dims the lights and pipes in the music, it's amazing. If you are looking for an upscale meal I love
STK Orlando at Disney Springs. It's a fun, lively atmosphere and serves an amazing steak. For a splurge, I highly recommend
Brunch At The Top at California Grill. It's the best meal I've ever had in my life. It's pricey but the views alone are worth the price tag.
I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.
