What does “1-day tier 6 ticket” mean?

Hey there, Kia, and welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled to hear you have a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth coming up next month!

For one-day theme park tickets, the Disneyland Resort uses a tiered system for different days throughout the year. The tier system goes from zero through six with a higher number being a higher cost. These higher-tiered days are typically busier days in the parks, from my experience.

The Tickets Frequently Asked Questions page does a great job laying out each ticket tier and the dates that they're able to be used on. You can also see the one-day one-park ticket prices on the "Reserve Your Ticket Date" page, which is part of the ticket purchase process.

As for your specific question about a tier six ticket, these are the highest-tiered ticket offering that can be used on tier 0-6 days until the ticket expires. In other words, if you purchased a tier six ticket and needed to change the details of your trip and switch your theme park reservation to a different day then you would be able to choose any other date (until the ticket expires) to switch to.

I hope this helps! Thanks again for your question, Kia.

    Have a Magical Day,
    Greg
