We have 6 day tickets for 4 people staying on property in a family suit (sleeps 6), but a friend wants to join us but only for 3 days. We bought her tickets but I can’t see how to add her to our room. Can I add her on to our room for just the three days?

    Hey there, Emily!

Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you've stopped by with your exciting Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! Your group is in for an unforgettable stay at The Most Magical Place on Earth. I'm thrilled to hear you'll be staying in one of the fabulous and spacious family suites on property! Now, let's get your group ready for your Walt Disney World Resort adventure.

It looks like you'll be checking in at your Disney Resort hotel in just a couple of days. The countdown is almost over, and the fun is about to begin! I think it's wonderful that a friend hopes to join you for part of your stay, Emily. The more, the merrier! A family suite will provide your group with the ultimate in comfort during your vacation, offering extra space with plenty of character. Emily, even though your friend only plans to stay with you for a few nights of your stay, I recommend adding her to your room-only Resort hotel reservation before your visit. Once added, her name will remain on the reservation for the duration of your stay. However, it's necessary to account for all Guests who'll be staying in a room for safety reasons, as well as to ensure that all Guests can unlock the doors to their rooms! To add a Guest to your reservation, simply call the friendly Cast Members at the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone line.

Emily, I was recently in a similar situation, where some Guests on a Resort hotel reservation were only staying in the room for a portion of the stay. Before the trip, we made sure that every individual who would be staying in the room at any point was added to the reservation. It's important to note that standard Resort hotel rates include two adults per room, and any additional adults on the reservation will incur an "Additional Adult Fee" per night that varies by Resort hotel tier, even when the number of Guests on the reservation is within the room's capacity. I want to make sure that you aren't surprised by this when you receive your Disney Resort hotel folio at the end of your stay!

I hope you've found this information helpful, Emily. I'm wishing you a magical and memorable Walt Disney World Resort vacation! If you have any more questions before or during your visit, feel free to return to planDisney again anytime. We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    See ya real soon,
