Hello there, Brenna! Welcome to planDisney. We are happy to see you've stopped by with a question for us!
The short answer to your question is yes. There are in-person ticket sales in the Esplanade at the Main Entrance Ticket Booths, including the possibility of same-day tickets. However, it is kind of risky to wait until the day you are wanting to visit the parks to purchase in person at Disneyland Resort. This is because currently, you need both a ticket and a
theme park ticket reservation for entry into either of the Disneyland Resort parks. Reservations do fill up, so while you may be able to purchase a ticket in person, there may not be any reservations available for that day. There are usually signs located near the ticket booths letting you know that there are no reservations available for the day.
I recommend purchasing your tickets online through the
Disneyland website or
app as soon as you confirm your plans. Then you make a ticket purchase through either of these places, you pick your date, and it will make your theme park ticket reservation for you as well. You can keep an eye on the reservation availability by checking the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar.
Brenna, I hope you are able to get your tickets purchased and reservations made for your upcoming visit soon! There's so much to see and do with all the exciting things going on right now. The Disney California Food & Wine Festival is happening, Mickey's Toontown just reopened, and the Disney100 Celebration has brought us some really great performances and entertainment! Thanks again for stopping by!
