We have day tickets for Magic Kingdom on a day where the Not so scary halloween party is on. Do we get to stay to watch the show? or is a separate ticket for that required?

Hi there, welcome to planDisney Marcela. Your plans look like they are about to get better one way or the other. I have some great options to make sure your day is an awesome one.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is such a good time with special treats located throughout Magic Kingdom Park. This event does require a special ticket and regular admission guests will not have access to the park after 7 p.m. I am sure this isn't the best news but I do have options to try and get the most out of your park day. If you are able to visit the park on a different day, changing your reservations without losing your current reservation is easy and can be done right from your smartphone. You can also add the Park Hopper Option which allows you to visit more than one park per day. Another great option is picking another park and day to use that single-day ticket and purchase tickets for the party! If you have tickets for the party you can enter the park starting at 4 p.m. and enjoy the park 3 hours before the party starts. You can dress up in your favorite costume and see Mickey Mouse and his pals dressed up too.

While you visit the park be sure to log in to your My Disney Experience App for a chance to race against Team Orange aboard TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise. You have a chance on the day of your visit to access the Virtual Queue at both 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. to obtain a boarding group number. Make sure you are on the app before 7 a.m. as boarding groups go very fast.

I hope this information helps you make the most out of your visit. Come on back to planDisney.com if you have any other questions or need any tips to make your trip that much sweeter.

    See ya real soon,

    Jeremy A.
