Hi! Have 4-day tickets for 6 for late February-early March. Starting to get a little worried with current Covid surge. What is the process for cancelling/rescheduling if (God forbid) someone in our party test positive in the lead up to our trip?

    Hi Billy! Welcome to planDisney!

I see we are both from Louisiana and Disney fans. It's great to connect with you on all things Disney.

First, let's chat about your upcoming Magical vacation.  Did you know you have chosen to be in Walt Disney World Resort during the World's Most Magical Celebration? This celebration is 18 months long, across all four theme parks. You can expect extra Magic during your visit, including Beacons of Magic which brings park icons to life in the evenings with EARidescent shimmer.  I recently visited and absolutely adored hunting for the Fab 50 Character Collection. Be on the look out for delectable new treats by referring to the 50th Anniversary Celebration Sips and Bites Guide. I highly suggest securing those must have dining reservations prior to your trip by visiting here online. Stay in the know as your vacation approaches by visiting the Disney Parks Blog often for the latest happenings pertaining to Disney.

Now, let's talk about the ever changing world pertaining to Covid-19. Unfortunately, all of our lives have been affected in some sort by this pandemic.  I would like to stress, policies continue to evolve and change as the health protocols warrant. Walt Disney World Resort takes this seriously for both Cast Members and your health. Here is the current Covid-19 "Know Before You Go"policy.  Within this policy, scroll down and you will read about the Health Acknowledgement.  If for any reason, you or your traveling party cannot meet all of the criteria, you may be asked to isolate or not attend.  If you need to reschedule your trip, you may call the Disney Reservation Center for assistance.

Just to cover a couple of current policies you should be aware of: Face Coverings, Experience Updates and Theme Park Reservations. And again remember, all of these policies are subject to change without notice.

I am sending you Magic Pixie Dust to a safe, fun and healthy upcoming vacation.

    See Ya Real Soon,
    Cindy
