We had 3 day tickets for four members of our family to visit last March 17-19. Our youngest son would have been 2 at the time so we did not purchase him a ticket. He has since turned 3- will I need a ticket for him? I secured reservations for our others

    Hi, Mandy!

Welcome to planDisney. I’m so glad you stopped by with this question, and I’m glad to hear your family plans to visit the Disneyland Resort soon! I hope your little one is excited for his first trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Yes, children who are age 3 or older do need a theme park ticket to enter Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Online ticket sales have resumed, so you can purchase one now for your son. You can then make separate theme park reservations for him on the same days you’ve already planned for the rest of your family, pending availability.

I hope this helps, Mandy, and that your family has a perfectly pixie-dusted vacation! Do you have more questions about planning your visit to the resort? If so, please be sure to send them our way.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
