Heather from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hi!! We have 6 day tickets for December. We have 2 days at Epcot and 1 day at Animal but I’m thinking of switching it to 2 days at Animal. We are a family of 6 with 4 teenage kids. 2 days at Epcot or 2 days at Animal, which would be better? I can’t decide!

Welcome to planDisney, Heather! I'm so glad that I get to answer this important planning question for you now that there's less than a month until your Walt Disney World Resort vacation and you're counting down the days!

I love this question so much because there's no wrong answer and you're going to have a great day wherever you go! It really depends on what your family likes to do. If you're thrill-seekers and a successful vacation day for you involves riding as many attractions as possible, I recommend switching your Disney Park Pass reservation to include a second day at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Some of the most thrilling attractions at Walt Disney World Resort, like Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain and Avatar Flight of Passage, are at Disney's Animal Kingdom and you also get the chance to relax, stroll the trails, and check out the animals!

If you're a foodie family, you're going to need more than one day to test all the food at the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. My favorite Holiday Kitchens are back for another year and I recommend trying the Pastrami on Rye with House-made Pickles and Deli Mustard from L'Chaim! Holiday Kitchen and the Cheese Fondue in a Bread Bowl from Bavaria Holiday Kitchen when you're tasting your way around World Showcase. The Holiday Cookie Stroll is sweeter when spread across two days as well, and you'll still get a chance to ride some great attractions like Soarin' Around the World and Frozen Ever After. Just like I said earlier, there really is no wrong choice!

I hope this answers your question, Heather, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
