1 day tickets? Buy when you arrive or before? We also want to go to the water park one day so we are trying to figure which would be cheaper?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Beth!

When it comes to a day at any four of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, you really can’t go wrong. Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach are sure to be a blast too, especially when you’re planning to visit in late September.

When it comes to ticket pricing for theme parks, one-day ticket prices vary by date and theme park. They are split up into three categories. Value, regular and peak. But, when you purchase tickets for two or more days, you don’t have to worry about tiered pricing. It's always a good idea to purchase theme park tickets ahead of time, that way you can make FastPass+ reservations 30 days before your visit.

One day tickets to Disney Water Parks cost less than tickets to Disney theme parks.

Beth, if you purchase theme park tickets for two or more days, you can add the Park Hopper Plus Option. I think the plus option is a great value because you will be able to enjoy the theme parks for each day you purchased, and you will have access to Disney’s Blizzard Beach, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course, Disney’s Fantasia Gardens and Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf.

For example, if you purchase two-day tickets with the Park Hopper Plus Option, you can enjoy two full days at any of the four theme parks, with the ability to park hop. Then you have two more days to visit the Disney Water parks or any of the options I listed above.

It’s all the Disney fun you and your family want to enjoy!
