So I have a 2 day ticket this weekend and saw enchant keys are available for purchase. So if I want to upgrade my ticket on sunday to an enchant key can I do that and still make payments on the pass? Do I need to make down payment when upgrading?

Hey there, hi there, Asha! Welcome back to planDisney. We are so glad you are here with another great question for us!

I am so excited that you have a visit planned this weekend! Spooky season is here, and there is so much to see, do, and eat! As a Magic Key holder, I think upgrading is a fantastic idea! I spoke to a Cast Member who helped me double-check the process for upgrading a ticket to a Magic Key pass. Yes, you can upgrade your ticket to a Magic Key pass before the end of the day on your last park day. After your ticket is activated, you can do it right from the Disneyland app! If your ticket value is more than the down payment price, you won't have to put down an additional down payment. Monthly payments are exclusively for California residents, so if you qualify, be sure to make sure your address is updated in your MyDisney account. If your address qualifies, you will have the monthly option during the upgrade process.

I recommend waiting until the end of the day on your last day of the ticket before upgrading. This is because if you upgrade at the beginning of your visit, your ticket and your theme park reservations are no longer valid. The Enchant Key is blocked out this weekend, so you wouldn't be able to make new reservations. That would not be a good fresh start to being a Magic Key holder!

Asha, I hope I was able to get you the information you need. I am wishing you a year full of magic as a Magic Key holder!
