Hiya Rocio!
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for sending us this magical question! Florida sure gets hot, and the best way to fight the heat is to stay by the pool or enjoy the water parks, so I am so glad you will get to experience that extra Disney magic!
Let's talk about those tickets! Your five-day park tickets are only valid for five days, though you will not have to make theme park reservations to visit the Water Parks! Indeed, once you use one of your tickets, you will have used one of your five days, regardless of if you visited the theme parks or a water park. However,
your five-day tickets expire eight days after their first use, so you will not have to use all five days in a row if you would like to take a Resort break in between! If you do decide to visit the theme parks in addition to the Water Parks, you will have to make
theme park reservations for those visits.
Should you want to upgrade your tickets, you can do so in one of two ways! First, you can log into your
My Disney Experience account and go into the "My Plans" section. Then, click on "Tickets & Memory Maker," and you should be able to see a "Change Ticket" button next to your ticket. This button should allow you to add days to your ticket or add the
Park Hopper Option and pay for the price difference remaining. The second way to do this is by
calling a Cast Member or visiting one of the ticketing windows at any of the theme parks. Cast Members truly are real-life fairy godparents, and I always go to them whenever I need help or when I want to add some extra magic to my vacation!
I hope this was helpful, Rocio, and that you and your Ohana will have the best day ever on your next Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip, please don't hesitate to reach back out. As they say at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, it was "ice to ski you!"
Have a magical day,
Ariane
