Well hey there, Joshua. We're so pleased you stopped by to ask your question at planDisney. I love the flexibility of being able to hop between both parks. I fully support your decision to upgrade and am delighted to help you make this happen.
As you probably know, upgrading your
SoCal Resident Ticket to a
Park Hopper (subject to availability) will apply to all three days of your ticket. Before you make any changes, make sure to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to ensure your desired visit dates are available as the change will cancel any existing reservations. I chatted with a Cast Member who shared that they can assist with the upgrade over the phone when calling
Disneyland Ticket Services. However, keep in mind that this is subject to change and you may need to visit the ticket booths in-person at the main entrance of Disneyland for assistance. I say it's always worth a quick phone call to see if someone can help over the phone.
Now you're all set to hop freely between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Did you know that park hopping also starts at 11:00 a.m. now? That's right, you can have breakfast in one park and lunch in the other.
There are so many wonderful things to explore right now including the
Disney100 Celebration and the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. With your park-hopping abilities, you'll be able to see both the
"Magic Happens" Parade and
World of Color - ONE on the same day. Now, that's what I call a double dose of magic.
Joshua, I hope this answers your question and you're able to do everything that your heart desires during your visits. If you have other questions as you plan your upcoming visit, please come back and ask us at planDisney. Until then, I wish you a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.
See ya real soon!
Michelle
