I have a 3 day ticket with park hopper and lightning lane multi-pass already purchased. I thought that I can pre-book my ride selections 3 days in advance, but the app says I have to wait until park entry. What am I not understanding?

Hi Tasha! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

There is no pre-booking of Lightning Lane Multi Pass return times at Disneyland Resort. If you've heard about the ability to book Attractions prior to your park day, that applies to the Walt Disney World Resort. The resorts operate a little differently, which is in response to how Guests experience the parks. I find the Disneyland Resort Lightning Lane Multi Pass system to be really no stress despite being a planner at heart!

You'll be able to book your first return time on the Disneyland mobile app once you've scanned into the park. After two hours have passed since booking or after scanning into your Lightning Lane Entrance you can book another Lightning Lane Multi Pass, whichever comes first. We find we get to explore more of the parks with this option and lessen the amount of time we spend in queues, so it's a great value to my family.

The earlier you arrive, the more use you should get out of this great option. Check the Daily Events Schedule for park hours, as well as great information about entertainment, fireworks, refurbishments, and more. This will be a handy tool for planning your must-do activities throughout your visit. Change the date at the top to see all the days you'll be exploring the parks! Schedules are subject to change. There's a lot to take in during Halloween Time, so pack some comfortable shoes and a refillable water bottle.

    Boo to you!
