Hi! I got a 1 day ticket with park hopper. I want to buy Genie for the day. I will start the day at Epcot (paid LL at GOTG and rope droping Remys). At the same time, can I start booking LL of Genie for my next parks? Is there a limit or only one at a time?

Welcome to planDisney, Sara! Thank you for stopping by on your way to the Wonders of Xandar Pavillion to save the Galaxy from Eson and his terrible antics.

For your day park hopping starting at EPCOT on March 17, you can book an Individual Lightning Lane and make your first Lightning Lane entry selection through Genie+ starting at 7 am. My recommendation would be to have your My Disney Experience App open before 7 am and call upon the Luck of the Irish to try for a Virtual Queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind precisely at 7:00:00, if you have the flexibility in your day to plan around a Boarding Group. If you do not get the Virtual Queue - or even if you do - I would then purchase the Individual Lightning Lane to make the jump through time and space at a time that works for your schedule. And then I would make my first Genie+ Lightning Lane selection.

You can only have one Individual Lightning Lane at a time, but you can have multiple Lightning Lane entries scheduled. You can make Lightning Lane selections every two hours, starting two hours after the park opens. For example: If at 7:05 am (after you have your Virtual Queue Boarding Group and your Individual Lightning Lane all arranged), you were to choose Slinky Dog Dash for Lightning Lane entry starting at 4 pm on a day Disney's Hollywood Studios opens at 9 am, at 11 am, you could make another selection, such as Twilight Zone Tower of Terror for 12:30 pm. You would then be eligible to select another attraction once you've enjoyed the Tower of Terror because it was the last ride you booked, even though it had not yet been two hours since you picked that one. As Captain Jack would ask, Savvy?

You can also modify your selections if needed. In the scenario above, let's say you had Tower of Terror for 12:30, but your Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind time is going to make you later than you thought to get to Hollywood Studios. You can modify your Lightning Lane and see the next available time for Lightning Lane entry. Just go to the attraction on the Tip Board, select "Modify Plan" and see if the new time would work for you.

Throughout your day, the Tip Board will be your friend, showing you when each attraction has its next Lightning Lane entry availability and a note at the top to let you know when you are eligible to book another Lightning Lane.

I hope this helps as your travels take you across the Walt Disney World Resort. Please come back to planDisney with any other questions.

Enjoy your day with the Terrans and EPCOTians!
