Hi Amanda! Thank you for bringing your question to us here at planDisney. We are always happy to help.
Upgrading to the
Park Hopper Option can be a great way to add some flexibility to your vacation. You can start at one park in the morning and then, after 2 p.m. EST, hop over to another park to add even more variety to your day. I love hopping to
EPCOT from
Disney's Hollywood Studios and vice versa because you can just hop on the
Disney Skyliner to get to and from each of those parks. I also like to hop between EPCOT and
Magic Kingdom Park because you can use the monorail to transfer between those parks as well. Just be sure you visit the park you have a
Theme Park Reservation for first because you will not be able to hop to another park if you have not done so. But don't worry, at this time, you don't need a Theme Park Reservation for the park to which you are hopping!
When adding the Park Hopper Option to your
Theme Park Ticket, it is tied to the length of your ticket. Since your ticket is 4 days, your Park Hopper would also be 4 days as well. At this time, you cannot add the Park Hopper for just one day. But that just means you have 4 days of flexibility instead of just one! Just make sure that if you decide to add on this option, you do it before your vacation or no later than the first day of your vacation. I say this because no matter when you add the Park Hopper Option, the price remains the same, even if you have already used some of the days on your park ticket.
Amanda, whether you decide to add the Park Hopper Option to your ticket or not, you are bound to have a wonderful time at the resort. Be sure to check out the brand-new rollercoaster
TRON / Lightcycle Run at Magic Kingdom Park and the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. If you have any other questions, please feel free to
reach out again in the future.
Remember you're the one who can fill the world with sunshine,
Matt
