How much is a day ticket for one single park multiple parks

Greetings, Maria, and welcome to planDisney! The Disneyland Resort offers a variety of ticket options, so you can choose the one that best fits your plans and travel style. It seems like you're interested in visiting the Resort for one day, so let's go over what you can expect when purchasing your ticket!

The cost of a 1-day Disneyland Resort theme park ticket ranges depending on the date you select. At the time of writing this, the 1-Day Ticket with Admission to 1 Park costs between $104 and $224. Upgrading to a Park Hopper ticket would cost an additional $70–$90, depending on the date you choose. I suggest visiting the Theme Park Ticket page on the Disneyland website to explore different dates and determine the best option for you.

You'll notice that the 1-day tickets are sorted into seven tiers, each with its own price point and set of blockout dates. The Tier 0 ticket, currently priced at $104, is the most affordable option, but also has the most blockout dates. If you have flexibility in the date of your visit, this tier can provide a great value.

If you're able to extend your visit by an extra day, Maria, you can also consider visiting one park per day over two days, instead of getting a 1-Day Park Hopper ticket. You'd spend one day in Disneyland and the other in California Adventure, giving you more time to explore each park at a relaxed pace. To maximize your budget, you could visit over two days that offer a 1-Day Tier 0 Ticket – at the current pricing, that would mean two full days in the park for as low as $208.

Of course, if you'll only be at the Resort for one day, or want greater flexibility in how you spend your time, a Park Hopper ticket is a fantastic option. You’ll begin your day at the park you reserved. Then, you can cross into the other park (or enter either park for the first time) after 11 a.m., as long as it hasn’t reached capacity (which has been rare in my experience).

As you're purchasing your ticket, Maria, you'll see optional add-ons available for an extra cost, such as the Lightning Lane Multi Pass. The multi pass can be especially helpful with a Park Hopper ticket, since there are participating attractions in both parks. You'll be able to make selections throughout the day to access the Lightning Lane entrances at various attractions, which can lead to shorter wait times. If attractions are a priority for you, this is a good way to maximize your time.

Maria, I hope this information sprinkled a little pixie dust on your plans. If you think of any other questions between now and your visit, please reach out – we're always happy to help here at planDisney!
