I have a 7 day ticket for October. I would like to upgrade to an Annual Pass. Do I wait until I am at the park to do that?

Hello there, Julie! Thanks for stopping by planDisney to talk about Walt Disney World Annual Passes.

I've been a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder for years now, Julie, and I can say that it is well worth the initial investment. I've made so many wonderful memories over the years as a passholder, it is such a great program and I'm happy to see that you are considering joining the passholder family.

Not too long ago Walt Disney World just opened back up the sale of new Walt Disney World Annual Passes. I know so many people have been waiting a long time (since the reopening of Walt Disney World over a year ago) to join the program. With the sales opening back up, we did see some changes to the program. Now, out of state Guests like you and I are now able to only purchase one tier of the Walt Disney World Annual Passes - the Disney Incredi-Pass. This annual pass gives you access to all four of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks 365 days with no blockout dates. That's a lot of opportunity for some magical memories! Also, you'll receive complimentary theme park parking and discounts on food, merchandise and select resort stays. On top of all of that, with the Disney Incredi-Pass, you'll be able to make and hold up to 5 park pass reservations at a time without a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel stay.  Previously, we've only been able to make and hold up to 3 and the addition of more park pass reservations is so welcomed!

If you think this sounds like something you will love using for the next year, you have a few options to upgrade the Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets you currently have. You can go ahead and upgrade your tickets ahead of time, if you would like, by calling 407-934-7639. To do this over the phone, your tickets must be unused and not expired. If you'd like to upgrade while you are there, you can also do this at any point during your vacation before you go home. You'll just stop by a theme park ticket window or the Disney ticket center at Disney Springs and a Cast Member will be more than happy to help you upgrade there.

I hope this helps, Julie! If you have any other questions before your trip, please do feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm here to help. Have fun and happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
