Hi Nicola,
Welcome back to planDisney! Fourteen days at the
Most Magical Place on Earth? That’s incredible. You’re in for such a treat. I typically only visit for seven or fewer days, and truth be told, I’m already thinking about my next trip before I’ve even left Orlando International Airport. It never seems to be quite enough, does it?
I see you’re visiting in the late summer, which coincides with
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. What a fun time of year to visit! This event, along with others like
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and
Disney Jollywood Nights, is considered a specially ticketed event. That means even with your 14-day park admission, you’ll need to purchase a separate ticket to attend. On nights when the party is scheduled at Magic Kingdom Park, Guests without a party ticket will be asked to leave before the event officially begins, which for MNSSHP, is 7:00 PM.
When I found out about these events, I would switch my park plans to a different park that day to make the most of the evening. However, I have recently switched my mindset since many Guests avoid Magic Kingdom on party days, it can be a great opportunity to enjoy lower wait times earlier in the day. I’ll just use the early close time as a good excuse to relax, enjoy a nice dinner, or turn in early to rest up for the next day’s fun.
If you have any other questions as you count down to your visit,
please send them our way. We’re always happy to help you make every day of your vacation as magical as it can be.
See you real soon,
Brent
